The son of one of the actors from the original Harry Potter films is now set to appear in HBO’s upcoming TV series adaptation alongside his father. Draco Malfoy would be proud.
Even though it’s still well over a year away at this point, HBO’s Harry Potter TV series keeps popping up in the news on a weekly basis.
Now, to be fair, casting stuff always makes headlines, but part of that has to do with the fact that Warner Bros just voluntarily put itself up for sale. As a result, all eyes are currently on the upcoming adaptation, because fans are somewhat concerned that its production may be affected by Warner Bros’ buyout.
Well, as long as everything goes according to plan, we’ll at least be able to see Warwick Davis back on our screens again. Davis is the only actor from the original films who will be returning for the HBO series… at least, that was the case until now.

As reported by the Wizarding World Direct Twitter account, Warwick Davis’ son, Harrison Davis, will apparently be subbing in for Warwick as his body double for the Harry Potter TV series.
This means that Harrison Davis will technically be the second actor from the original Harry Potter films who’s returning for the TV adaptation, as he apparently played a "Magic goblin" in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2.
This won’t be the second time Harrison has joined his father in a live-action project though, as he also appeared alongside him in Star Wars: Episode IX - The Rise of Skywalker as Pommet Warrick.
Random aside, but it’s hilarious to me that Pommet Warrick is in Star Wars: Episode IX for about a grand total of 20 seconds and does basically nothing of note, yet the Star Wars fandom has somehow managed to craft an entire page of information about him on Wookiepedia.
It is worth mentioning that Harrison has had a proper chance to act in the past (in non-body double roles), such as his voice role in the animated children’s series Moley.
With that in mind, there’s always a chance that we’ll see Harrison Davis pop up in the Harry Potter TV series in a more front-facing role down the line.
If reports are to be believed, Warrick Davis’ daughter Annabelle Davis could be close to securing a role in the series too, so perhaps we’ll see the three of them acting alongside each other in the second season.
