GTA: San Andreas find new secret after 20 years that we all missed

It’s a BIG secret

The Grand Theft Auto series is one of the most popular properties of all time, not just in the video game world but across the entertainment spectrum as a whole. One of its best entries among many is 2004’s GTA: San Andreas.

Originally released for the PlayStation 2, before making its way to other platforms including PC and Xbox, GTA: San Andreas garnered an all-mighty Metacritic score of 95, earning the “Must-Play” accolade. Rockstar Games did release a “definitive” edition in 2021, but it’s fair to say that its troublesome launch did not do this iconic game the justice it deserved.

Check out the GTA: San Andreas trailer below!

“Five years ago Carl Johnson escaped from the pressures of life in Los Santos, San Andreas... a city tearing itself apart with gang trouble, drugs and corruption,” reads the description of the game. “Where film stars and millionaires do their best to avoid the dealers and gangbangers. Now, it's the early 90s. Carl's got to go home.”

Much like most other games in the Grand Theft Auto series, the map of GTA: San Andreas is huge, especially for the time of its original release. It was packed full of interesting NPCs, side-quests, mini-games and secrets galore, so it makes sense that gamers are still making big discoveries two decades later.

However, when I say “big discoveries” I mean it, such as the one shared by a Reddit user (you will need an adult Reddit account to see this mature content). “Jeez, you'd think after 20 years of playing a game on and off you would've seen everything, and yet…” they said, kicking off the discussion in the thread.

Somehow, it took me a while to spot the star of the screenshot shared on Reddit because I was distracted by CJ’s Mr T haircut and was looking at the DVD rack behind him tricked by the map icon, thinking it was highlighting the point of interest.

So if like me, look away from the DVD rack and cast your eyes above CJ. Yep, there it is, a big chainsaw dildo for us all to see. Thankfully for me at least, I wasn't alone in not noticing the giant dildo hanging from the ceiling.

GTA: San Andreas is available to play now and is included in Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition for PC, PlayStation, Xbox and Nintendo Switch.
