There's no shortage of action when it comes to Grand Theft Auto VI, as Netflix's 'extended look' trailer showcased an 80-hour campaign and a massive wealth of minigames and activities.
Fans who have been following the painfully long GTA 6 saga will have already figured out that the colossal title will include some iconic pastimes, while new features have been revealed as Lucia and Jason find time for themselves outside of the heist-filled main storyline.
From tattoo parlours, kayaking, and your generic carjacking shenanigans, the extended look dove even further into the endless realms of possibilities in GTA 6.
So, as we gear up for high-speed car chases, building romances with a juiced-up Red Dead morality system, flirting with the club dancers, and skydiving from Vice City helipads, here are a handful of side quests that you need to do.
Pokémon Go-like animal hunting
While original screenshots revealed that players will be able to go on actual hunting missions, with beasties like crocodiles causing havoc, it's now been revealed that all animals in the game will be added to a Pokédex-like app, where you can collect all the furries around the map.
Advert
As per a Spanish content creator, El Rubius, who was invited to Rockstar North for an exclusive preview, there is a range of animals to interact with, all of which can be added to a collection deck.
From visiting the zoo -yes, there's a zoo - to petting the dogs on the street, all of your animal interactions will be logged until you catch them all.
Watching TV and doomscrolling
Playing a game about watching TV and doomscrolling? Sold. Well, as part of Jason and Lucia's downtime activities, players will be able to take time to sit on the couch with the sports on and flick through social media apps.
The characters might react badly to this, with Lucia getting frustrated if Jason is scrolling instead of texting back, and the physical impacts of skipping the gym for TV time could add a few pounds to the power couple.

Shooting Range
The new police system makes it paramount that you have more than one weapon in your belt. With the clever cops now recognising your weapon type on higher-star crimes and remembering them for future reference, switching guns will be a good way to keep your criminal profile from building, which makes escaping conflicts much easier.
To get comfortable with these varied guns, you can get to grips with them at the shooting ranges around Vice City, rather than blindly firing them at enemies.
Car meets and street races
GTA 6 makes carjacking much harder, with people recognising your face and locking their doors to prevent being robbed on the road. So, you might have to look elsewhere for a quick four-wheeled thrill.
Instead, players will be able to attend street races (on cars, bikes, quads, and more), and chill out with the gang at meets afterwards. Fast and Furious could never...
Pool and billiards
If getting a lap dance at the club isn't your vibe, maybe mum's in the room or the kids are watching, there are a bunch of bar activities that the protagonists can enjoy, such as pool and billiards.
It's not a case of simply having auto animations for smacking a queue either, as you will be able to participate in the games and actively aim and fire. The same goes for mini golf and darts.
Cage fighting, MMA, and mud wrestling
Given that fighting is a big part of GTA gameplay, players will also have the chance to see how their right hook lines up against other martial arts fans around the map.
In a range of different settings, from a backyard puddle to a professional octagon, get to grips with opponents in a legal way, and take that prowess to your exchanges with the police when you're on the run.
Cave diving
Watersports have been well showcased for GTA 6, with kayaking and jet-skiing featuring in promotional art for well over a year.
But going one step further, you can even do cave diving, getting your scuba outfits on and seeing what the deep blue has to offer. Who knows what's lurking in the depths, but it seems like as good an activity as any to pass the time between missions.
