A new GTA San Andreas remake concept trailer has dropped and it makes the 2021 remaster look like total crap.

When Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy - The Definitive Edition was released in 2021, it should have been a joyous occasion for GTA fans across the world. Three absolutely beloved greats, GTA III, GTA: Vice City and GTA: San Andreas modernised for this generation with improved visuals, gameplay and more.

Sadly, that was far from what we received at launch. Each of the three remasters were buggy, didn't look all that great and that’s putting it lightly. It probably didn't help matters that each of the three GTA remasters were in fact ports of the mobile games.

So with that in mind, it’s fair to say that Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy - The Definitive Edition was very much a major let down and each of the iconic GTA games deserved much better.

While we may never get the GTA trilogy of remasters that we and the series deserve, the exceptionally talented concept trailer artist, TeaserPlay has been working wonders once more.

You may actually remember a previous GTA San Andreas concept trailer from TeaserPlay, built using the all-powerful Unreal Engine 5. The first trailer offered a unique perspective, featuring an aged CJ and his fellow Grove Street posse, taking place 30 years after the events of the original game.

TeaserPlay has recently released another GTA San Andreas concept trailer, and as amazing as it looks, it’s also a reminder of how crap that 2021 remaster was. The concept trailer gets our nostalgic juices flowing as well as the added disappointment of what could have been.

In related news, despite knowing that Rockstar Games is currently working on the next entry in the Grand Theft Auto series, fans are still left wondering when GTA 6 is coming out. Speaking of which, a rapper recently teased that the long-awaited GTA 6 trailer could soon be on the way.
