GTA 6 trailer 2 is leaving fans with their heads in their hands

Fans of Rockstar Games’ Grand Theft Auto series are feeling tormented that we’ve still not seen trailer two for GTA VI and I don’t blame them.

When Rockstar Games dropped the first trailer for GTA VI in December 2023, the gaming community went into a meltdown. News of the highly anticipated trailer was hard to avoid with Grand Theft Auto fans making it talk of the social media landscape.

However, it’s now been well over a year since Rockstar Games released the first trailer for GTA VI and with fans constantly throwing new theories and speculation into the wild, many hoped that trailer two would have dropped months ago.

Alas, news of the GTA VI trailer two has been radio silent, at least when it comes to official news from Rockstar Games, fans are wondering when it will arrive. After all, GTA VI is currently scheduled to be released late this year (unless it gets delayed).

“One year and three months, and still nothing…,” said Reddit user northfacetommy. “No second trailer, no gameplay, not even a single new screenshot. Just silence.”

“They keep saying 2025, but let’s be real—does anyone actually believe that? Knowing Rockstar, this is probably getting pushed to 2026 or later,” they continued.

“At this point, the hype isn’t even being sustained—it’s just fading away. No updates, no momentum, and nothing to keep people excited. It feels like we’re all just waiting around for something that might never come.”

“The hype for the most anticipated game of all time, from one of the biggest game franchises of all time, isn't dying down,” replied Ok_Lawfulness7865. “This is a record-breaking game, its production is massive.. it is more than understandable why so little has been said about it.”

“Hmm, the moment the second trailer drops, the feel of this subreddit will change dramatically,” claimed One-Problem-5085 in response.

“Every new day we get one day closer to the next trailer,” said a positive Dense-Maintenance-85 with an optimistic farNdepressed replying “I still believe it’s coming out in 2025.”

“Brother, you think this is bad... you should see the Elder Scrolls VI subreddit,” joked English_Breakfast123, who also, speaks the absolute truth.

Hopefully, Rockstar Games will drop the second trailer and a release date for GTA VI soon and when that happens, we’ll keep you posted.

Grand Theft Auto VI will be released on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S. Its PC release hasn’t been announced, yet.
