GTA 6 New Trailer Reveal Approaching, Fans Mark Their Calendars

It is hard to believe that it has been five months since we received our last official update from Rockstar regarding Grand Theft Auto VI.

However, fans are hoping that this content drought will soon end and that we can get our hands on the next official trailer or maybe even pre-order news.

It has been a long road for Grand Theft Auto VI fans with Rockstar Games releasing its first official trailer way back in December 2023 and only revealing the second in May of this year.

With it being well over a decade since the last Grand Theft Auto entry, Grand Theft Auto V, was released, it is safe to say that we are eager to dive back into the crime-filled hit series.

That being said, although we are just under seven months away from GTA VI’s release, Rockstar is still yet to show us any official gameplay, announce pre-orders or give us definite confirmation that another delay is not inevitable.

Nevertheless, some fans are still feeling hopeful and that includes Retrofusion11 over on r/GTA6.

“We really are on the verge of the beginning of the marketing campaign!” They announced in a recent post.

“This final drought (with the brief inundation of info on May 6, 2025) is almost at the end.

Next month is November and we will be 6 months out officially. We still got the cover art reveal and trailer 3. I think the next month of two we are going to see R* ramp up on marketing.”

Although this is merely speculation, it would make sense for Rockstar to indeed push marketing over the next few months, especially around the holiday period.

As mentioned by this Reddit user, there is still a lot more to be announced and revealed and it is exciting to think what else Rockstar is keeping under its sleeve when it comes to the most anticipated video game of all time.

Not only that but with Rockstar’s parent company Take-Two Interactive expected to have its quarterly earnings call on 6 November, we will also get to learn if GTA VI is still on track for its May 2026 launch.

There is also the November issue of Game Informer as the magazine has regularly had the inside scoop for some of the biggest upcoming games and rumours have been circulating that next month’s issue could feature a preview of GTA VI itself.

However, this is merely speculation and should be taken with a grain of salt.

“Holy s**t, was trailer 2 and screenshots in MAY?” One user asked.

“It feels like just yesterday. Yeah we really are about to start seeing new stuff.”

Another user has been looking into the past to get some insight.

“I've been watching all the GTA 4 trailers and the third trailer came out almost 6 months after trailer 2.

Considering the game was released in April, we'll probably get GTA 6 trailer 3 in November or December if they don't plan on delaying the game.”

It remains to be seen what will be next for Rockstar Games but with that earnings call just around the corner, it may be just weeks until we receive the next big update surrounding Grand Theft Auto VI.
