In a since deleted social media post, a myriad of details about the upcoming Grand Theft Auto VI has been released and it seems as though the next Rockstar title is going to be even bigger than we had initially thought.

There is no denying that Grand Theft Auto VI is not only the most anticipated video game of all time but it will also potentially be the biggest.

Reported to feature an open-world map on a scale like we have never seen before, it seems as though Rockstar is pushing the boundaries of gaming to the extreme.

If we were not already sure of this, we definitely are now according to a social media post shared by GameRoll.

The post has since been deleted but thanks to TheEternalGazed over on r/GamingLeaksAndRumours, we still have all of the details.

The user shares various details on everything from Grand Theft Auto VI’s map to its characters and gameplay and with 26 features mentioned, let us take a look at some of the most exciting.

When it comes to gameplay, 6-star wanted levels are expected to make a return but in terms of new features, players can expect a ‘relationship bar’ which will be similar to how the Honour System works in Red Dead Redemption 2.

This would benefit Jason and Lucia who are reportedly in an established relationship at the start of GTA VI as, with GameRoll mentioning that both male and female strippers will be available, their relationship could be tested.

The map will also include underwater zones which can be explored and driving is “the best it’s ever been” which will definitely make the large open-world map all the more accessible.

GameRoll also claims that Grand Theft Auto VI will feature over 700+ shops with many of them being enterable.

When it comes to the length of the game, it will reportedly feature chapters much like Red Dead Redemption 2 consisting of five chapters in total.

Not only that but any footage seen in the second official trailer was from chapters 1-3.

Of course, all of this information should be taken with a pinch of salt but with just over seven months to go until Grand Theft Auto VI is finally released, fans are feeling the hype more than ever.

Grand Theft Auto VI is set to launch on 26 May 2026 on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S.
