GTA 6 leak confirms torture missions are making a return

GTA 6 leak confirms torture missions are making a return

Could torture scenes be back in GTA 6?

Grand Theft Auto VI, is a game so many of us are really excited about, yet, we still know very little about the next entry in the iconic series from Rockstar Games.

Rockstar Games announced that it was working on GTA VI back in February 2022, but we still know practically nothing about the game. Well, at least officially. Some have even speculated that Rockstar Games only made the announcement as damage control following infamous gameplay leaks.

Check out our GTA VI round-up video below!

As a result of Rockstar Games giving us next to nothing to chew on, we’ve had to rely on leaks and rumours. That being said, if recent rumours are to be believed, a GTA VI release date announcement could be made later this month. Regardless, all rumours should be taken with a pinch of salt until proven otherwise.

So what is the latest batch of gossip that keeps the rumour mill ever spinning? Actually, the rumours featured in this article are not all that new, but rather a kind Reddit user named Denso95 has analysed all the rumours and leaks to compile the data in a handy list, thanks for that.

Some of the information gathered for the list seemingly confirms that UFOs are back, alligators will hunt other animals (maybe even humans), dogs will have rabies (lovely), shopping malls will return, you might get mugged by NPCs, and perhaps even Big Foot might be making a comeback.

The list is really long, so I won’t mention everything in this article, however, one other standout mention as a result of previous leaks is the potential return of torture scenes. A certain torture scene was one of the most memorable moments in GTA V for better or worse. Yet, years after the release of GTA V, some deemed that torture scene as ‘entirely unnecessary’ in retrospect.

GTA V’s torture scene was controversial, but in fairness, we are talking about the Grand Theft Auto series and without its controversy, what would the series be? Nonetheless, it’s quite interesting to know that torture scenes might be back in GTA VI. Obviously, all the details featured in the list are by no means official confirmation, but it certainly gives us something to talk about and some of the mentions in the list will surely stick.

In related news, GTA Vice City Stories appears online ahead of a potential Grand Theft Auto VI release date reveal, and a leaker claims that the new version of GTA Online will closely resemble Fortnite.

GTA VI is expected to be released on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
