GTA 6 heist gameplay has fans losing their minds with excitement

My hype knows no limits

I have to hand it to Rockstar Games, dropping Grand Theft Auto VI’s second trailer last week was a genius move.

Fair to say, many of us were left disappointed when the game was delayed the week prior.

Yes, that delay was accompanied by the release date of 26 May 2026, but that’s still a long way off.

What better way to help us all forget our disappointment than to drop the long-awaited second trailer to send us all into a hype frenzy?

I don’t know about you but I’ve spent far more time pouring over its content than I have mourning the delay, which is exactly what I assume Rockstar planned.

The dust may have settled following the trailer’s surprise arrival, but there’s still plenty left for us to unpack within its three-minute runtime.

You can watch that trailer below.

GTA VI will, of course, have us all committing various crimes, doing our best to evade Vice City’s cops.

After all, it looks as if Lucia has only just left the slammer; we don’t want to end up back there.

Avoiding said fate will be tricky though when it comes to pulling off major heists which’ll surely attract the attention of the law.

Well, Reddit user Kekus_Sama has identified several clips in the trailer which could offer insight as to the scale of the heists we can expect to partake in.

“Lucia wears the same outfit in all the clips, but with slight variations like different glasses in clips one and two, and no body armor vest in clip one, while she has one in clips two and three,” they began.

“In my opinion, the order goes like this: clip one is the robbery, clip two shows the shootout as they leave the bank, [and] clip three is the police escape. What do you guys think?”

I think it’s a really good deduction, and let’s not forget that Rockstar has already confirmed that 50% of the trailer is made up of gameplay.

“Real and true,” replied PantheonGaming11.

“That’s looking like Heat,” added TouchOk4323, referring to the iconic 1995 film.

My goodness, I cannot wait to embark on this wild journey with Jason and Lucia.
