GTA VI is going to be huge when it eventually comes out, and knowing Rockstar Games, it’s going to give us some of the best graphical fidelity we’ve ever seen in a game, ever.

Rockstar Games is the undisputed king of open-world gaming.

GTA V and Red Dead Redemption 2 are clear examples of that as they gave us some of the most in-depth open-worlds we’d ever seen at the time of release.

Its next industry-defining adventure will be GTA VI, which is seemingly going to top them both.

We’ve seen a tiny glimpse of what the new game will be capable of but are yet to get that pesky second trailer, which will hopefully include some actual gameplay rather than cutscenes.

In the meantime, fans are imagining just how glorious the finished product will look, using what was possible with Red Dead Redemption 2 as a starting point.

“If this is what Rockstar can pull off on a PS4, imagine what GTA VI is gonna look like on the PS5,” said one fan in a Reddit thread, accompanied by Red Dead Redemption 2 gameplay of Arthur travelling on his horse.

They’ve got a point, as Red Dead Redemption 2 hasn’t even received an Xbox Series X/S or PlayStation 5 upgrade, it’s still just the Xbox One/PS4 version slightly upscaled.

“It's gonna be next level man, unfathomable to some extent … The colours are gonna pop off, the ray tracing will look phenomenal and everything will look realistic/well implemented or optimised for a better word,” said one fan in response, perfectly summarising the excitement for GTA VI.

That said, the excitement is for more than just how pretty it looks but how alive the world is, with one saying they’re expecting “a living, breathing city. People in line ordering food. Humidity on cars at 4 to 6am … Absolute immersion".

It’s going to be great, possibly the greatest video game of all-time if all goes well, but it’s Rockstar Games so it’s bound to be perfect, right?
