GTA VI fans are already excited over a potentially new announcement from Rockstar Games that could drop at any moment.

There’s no doubt that when the next entry in the Grand Theft Auto series from Rockstar Games arrives, it will be one of the biggest events in the entertainment industry and not just in the world of video games.

Check out the GTA VI trailer below!

Following years of rumours and leaks, Rockstar Games finally dropped the first trailer for GTA VI in December 2023 and it sent social media into a frenzy with the trailer on YouTube garnering well over 200 million views and counting. To be honest, it’s only been a little over a year and that trailer feels like a lifetime ago.

Understandably, fans are eager for GTA VI trailer two with many speculating that it should have arrived already. Alas, 2025 is now in full swing with no second trailer in sight but fans are no less hyped.

Now, once again, some fans of the Grand Theft Auto series believe that Rockstar Games will be releasing GTA VI trailer two anytime now. But will it?

“The community announcements for the past four Rockstar titles were revealed in January,” revealed Reddit user theundisputed11. “It’s just speculation, so take it with a grain of salt.”

“The last time trailer one was announced, it was close to the 9 November earnings call with Take-Two Interactive,” they continued. “We have an earnings call coming on 6 February next month. Note: I mentioned all announcements happened in January, but RDR2 was on 1 Feb, still it's marginally close.”

It may be clutching at straws, but if you keep throwing spaghetti against a wall, at some point, it’s going to stick and Rockstar Games will release the second GTA VI trailer. We just don’t know when just yet.

“Yes, it’s coming this month. I’m so confident we’ll get an announcement this month I’ll post a naked picture of myself if I’m wrong,” replied a perhaps overly confident Unlucky-Spray278.

“L.A. Noire’s release date was also announced in Jan 2011,” said ExpertNature6041 suggesting Rockstar Games is a creature of habit.

“It’s funny that GTA V and RDR2 had the final official release date revealed on these days. Both on a Thursday and one week before the February earnings call,” teased Complete_River_6226.

“January will come and go with no peep from Rockstar Games about GTA VI,” goldenkerelle claimed.

Hopefully, Rockstar Games will put us all out of our misery sooner, rather than later. At the time of writing, Grand Theft Auto VI is scheduled to be released at the end of this year on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S.
