GTA 6 fans are already starting to talk about GTA 7

The release of Grand Theft Auto VI is nowhere to be seen, but that hasn't stopped fans of Rockstar Games chatting about what lies ahead.

Rockstar Games first announced that it was working on GTA VI back in February 2022. Sadly, since that time, we’ve had no official details to chew on and that is why we’ve had to make do with leaks and speculation.

Some fans are concerned that the release date of GTA VI might be so far away that we might not only die before that time arrives, but we’ll all be ended by an apocalypse (of sorts). Hopefully, it shouldn't come to either of those scenarios, but the question must still be asked, when is Grand Theft Auto VI going to be released?

At this point, we’re all none the wiser. However, it has been claimed recently that Rockstar Games will make a big announcement later this month. Whether that comes to fruition remains to be seen, but we wouldn't recommend holding your breath, otherwise, you might actually die before you get a chance to play GTA VI.

Regardless, that hasn't stopped fans from talking about GTA VII, not VI, but VII. Though in fairness, the discussion taking place in a recent Reddit post is very much in jest. Reddit user TableFlipper4 joked, "The trailer drops and it gets one million views in one day, the subreddit will get flooded with more people [...] and once the game finally releases, everyone will complain and say GTA V is better." He continued, "MrBossFTW will make a video on GTA VII, [...] and there will be a few bugs on release and people will complain about it." Sounds pretty accurate.

“Yep, power-hungry nerds are always ahead to be mods of new subreddits, even if they won’t be used until 2027,” exclaimed ihatejuicelol. However, ‘2027’ is being very optimistic, especially if the rumours of GTA VI being released between 2024 to 2025 are true.

What’s more, Rockstar Games has been milking GTA V for the best part of a decade (and counting), so we wouldn't expect GTA VII to be released until way into 2030.

“Someone will make a subreddit dedicated to GTA VII, Join us at r/GTA7” said incenso-apagado sharing a subreddit to GTA VII that actually exists. “Sernando will get an early copy of GTA VII on GTA VI launch day, and millions of children will watch his video,” joked Cc99910.

Grand Theft Auto VI is expected to be released on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
