GTA 5 fans united over Michael's return for 'one last DLC'

What a send-off that would be

Grand Theft Auto V featured one of the most engaging single-player campaigns of all time and that was mainly due to its iconic trio.

Telling the story of stoic Michael, inexperienced Franklin and the chaotic Trevor, Grand Theft Auto V followed the story of all three of them as they come together to complete a series of heists and get into a whole lot of trouble along the way.

Check out the trailer for Grand Theft Auto Online below!

With the player able to switch between all three at any given time, we grew to love them along the way which made it all the more sad to see the credits roll on Grand Theft Auto V.

However, with Rockstar regularly adding content to Grand Theft Auto Online, the single-player campaign for GTA V was not the only time we see the golden trio as they have since appeared in cameos for the multiplayer fans.

Despite Michael, Trevor and Franklin’s story now being wrapped up, a recent Tweet by Michael’s voice actor Ned Luke may hint at another cameo in the future.

Grand Theft Auto VI may be set to release later this year but thanks to fans receiving just one official trailer, what we know about the game is still under wraps and that includes its GTA Online component.

That being said, Luke’s recent post may hint at Michael showing his face in the next Grand Theft Auto instalment.

His Tweet came in response to a fan saying, “Ned, please be in GTA Online for one last DLC”.

To which Luke responds, “Wouldn’t that be nice?” alongside five star emojis.

Of course, the original poster wishes for Luke to appear in yet another GTA 5 Online cameo but with that being unlikely, it could mean that the actor will appear in the next instalment, right?

That being said, Luke went on to add a revision to his original Tweet.

“TBH, at this point, I’m not sure I would do it even if they were to ask,” he added.

I’m enjoying playing all the random online DLC characters so much…why mess with such a good thing? If it ain’t broke don’t fix it.”

However, for fans, they clearly do not agree.

“That’s fair. I really hope we see Michael in GTA 6 though.

Maybe out there shooting a movie or on his boat taking a cruise in Vice City,” one comment read.

Another said, “The very first thing we heard from GTA V was Michael's "why did I move here?" line.

I think having him appear in the final update of Online is poetic.”

Well, only time will tell and luckily, we don’t have long to wait for GTA VI.
