GTA 5’s new story DLC for its online mode brings back a character we thought he had killed in the main game.

The story DLC in question is The Last Dose for GTA Online, which you can play on your lonesome if you choose. It will also serve as the “eye-popping conclusion” to Los Santos Drug Wars bringing “hallucinations, kidnapping, and revenge”.

Now, before we proceed, if you haven't finished the main story of GTA 5, we will be going into spoiler territory for this 10-year-old game. So consider this as your final spoiler warning.

During the main story of GTA 5, Michael has regular visits to his “therapist” by the name of “Dr” Isaiah Friedlander. Obviously, Michael is a very complex character that has done many horrible things in his life. So, Ishah Friedlander knows many of Michael’s deepest and darkest secrets.

However, as it turns out, Friedlander is a total fraud and despite charging Michael a lot of money for his sessions, he doesn't even have a real medical degree. Later in the story, Friedlander is offered a TV show and threatens to talk about Michael on television.

Obviously, Micheal isn't just going to let this happen and during a mission, he kidnaps Friedlander. The player is then offered the chance to kill the phoney Dr or let him live. At least according to the The Last Dose DLC, choosing to let Friedlander live is canon because he’s back with a heavy dose of swagger.

Rather than being a budding celebratory craving fame, Friedlander now demands power and fortune. The “Dr” is now the owner of FriedMind Pharmaceutical Corporation which is said to specialise in psychedelic-assisted therapy.

With his newly found power and fortune, Friedlander has intentions of putting Dax and the Fooliganz crew's Big Pharma business out of commission. Friedlander claims to have drugs 10 times stronger than magic mushrooms and believes his customers will lap it up.

What’s more, as an added bonus, The Last Dose DLC also brings six new Hotring Circuit races as well as the all-new Karin Hotring Everon.

GTA Online: Los Santos Drug Wars - The Last Dose arrives as a free update on 16 March for PC, PlayStation and Xbox.
