GTA 5 Michael actor hates that damn Yoga mission as much as you do

Yup, we hate it too

The GTA V actor for the character Michael De Santa, has confirmed that he hates that damn yoga mission just as much as we do.

When it comes to being a near-flawless single-player experience, Rockstar Games’ GTA V has to be somewhere at the top of the list.

GTA V not only looked gorgeous, but each of its three main playable characters (Michael, Trevor Phillips and Franklin Clinton) are oddly charismatic in unique ways. The Los Santos map is not only huge, but brimming with life and activities, and above all else, it’s a blast to play.

There are plenty of reasons why GTA V is considered to be one of the best video games of all time, not only indicated by its massive sales numbers over the years, but it’s also one of the highest-rated games on Metacritic with a score of 97.

That being said, certain moments from the game that perhaps prevent this beloved Grand Theft Auto entry from being completely flawless is the infamous yoga mission. If you’ve played through GTA V, there’s every chance you're getting flashbacks as you read this.

Well, if you hate that yoga mission too, so does Michael’s actor, Ned Luke. In fact, I think it’s fair to say that he hates it more than we do.

From a tweet made by the Grand Theft Auto fan account, ‘GTA VI Countdown’, it posted images of the infamous yoga mission in question with the words “This is hands down the worst mission in GTA V,” and Ned replied.

“Hands down the worst to shoot. Sweated my ass off for eight hours,” exclaimed the actor.

All I can remember from that yoga mission is that it featured some awkward QTEs that were not comfortable with my hands, and it felt like it went on forever. But eight hours of motion capture is something else. Ned Luke, we all feel your pain.

GTA V is out now on PC, PlayStation and Xbox. As for GTA VI, that’s currently scheduled to be released on 26 May 2026 on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S.
