Andrew Garfield And Tobey Maguire Snuck Into 'Spider-Man: No Way Home' Screenings Together

In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, Garfield said it was a "really beautiful thing to share together".

So, No Way Home, huh? If the internet is anything to go by, it seems people are divided into two categories - the group who’ve seen it at least three times each now, and the perpetually on-guard, all key terms muted on Twitter kind of people, who are still out here dodging spoilers like their lives depend on it (it’s me, I’m people). I don’t think there’s anyone who doesn’t have some interest in watching it, that is for sure.

Well anyway, it’s obviously not just the fans who want to get their fill of the movie. In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, Andrew Garfield, the Spidey star of The Amazing Spider-Man, revealed that he and Tobey Maguire actually snuck into an opening night screening together. The best part is that somehow, no one even noticed.

While you're here, be sure to check out our interview with No Way Home's shining star, Tom Holland, below.

"I snuck into a theatre on opening night and just watched with my baseball cap on and my mask," Garfield told Entertainment Tonight. "In fact, I was also with Tobey, me and Tobey snuck into a theatre together and no one knew we were there. It was just a really beautiful thing to share together.”

So the question is then, is anyone now realising that they may have unknowingly sat next to the pair during their screening? Because listen, those viewings were packed, there’s no way there were empty seats on opening night. So, y’know, not only is it possible, it’s literally a given that someone had the best viewing partners anyone could ever wish for.

If somehow, you’re someone who hasn’t seen the movie yet, and aren’t that sold on watching it, be sure to check out our review, in which our very own Ewan Moore describes it as “the cinematic equivalent of a hyperactive kid tipping all their action figures onto the bed and smashing them together for a few hours”. What could possibly be better? Beats me. If for no other reason, watch it for me, reader. Do it for both of us. When I can finally unmute everything on Twitter, I may finally know peace.
