Idiotic 'Call Of Duty: Warzone' Streamer Fires Real Gun Out Window After Losing

Idiotic 'Call Of Duty: Warzone' Streamer Fires Real Gun Out Window After Losing

A real See You Next Tuesday kind of thing to do.

Call Of Duty: Warzone can be an incredibly frustrating game. Not just because of the server issues and grab-bag of bugs and glitches that give rounds a pleasingly random feel, but because even when everything is working as it should, it's intense as hell. Coming close to victory only to have it snatched away by a passing helicopter or stray sniper hurts, but the hurt is what makes it good. It's what makes us want to jump for just one more game and earn that win.

Of course tempers can run high during wins and losses in Warzone - as they can with any game, really, and sometimes you need to vent. I'm all for a bit of swearing at the screen or smacking the sofa if things haven't gone quite my way, personally. Throwing a controller across the room is something I understand a lot less, but I have seen it happen. Firing your gun out of the window, on the other hand? Hang your head in shame, because you're clearly a complete and utter arsehole.

As documented on Reddit, a streamer by the name Faze sWiisH (no association with FaZe Clan, I should stress) let their emotions out in the most petulant, dangerous way possible. After dying in the middle of a Duos game, sWiisH appeared to empty an entire magazine of a real gun from his bedroom window. The clip first started circulating on Reddit, although the Twitch upload in question appears to have been removed. It has, however, been shared to YouTube since.

In the video below, you can see the moment the streamer gets up from their chair opens the window, and seems to fire below. You can also hear ttheir teammate respond with "what in god's name?", clearly completely unaware of what was going on.

The vast majority of commenters on social media have been quick to condemn sWiisH for his actions. Many users' first thoughts were that his incredibly stupid decision could have resulted in someone out on the street getting seriously hurt.

Thankfully a Reddit user by the name of Througheur57 seems to have ascertained via sWiisH's Instagram that he "lives in the middle of nowhere" and was firing into an open field, but the fact remains that what he did was dangerous and dumb. As Througheur57 argues, there was no way for sWiisH to "see for sure that there was nobody down range". In other words, there was very little chance he would have hit anyone, but even a little chance of shooting someone with a damn gun is not a chance you should be taking.

At the time of writing it doesn't look as though any action has been taken against sWiisH's Twitch channel, although previous instances of streamers using weapons on stream suggests a ban is certainly within the realms of possibility. Watch this space.
