Expanded and enhanced indeed

Last year, Rockstar Games confirmed that Grand Theft Auto V would be coming to PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series consoles, because the world is chaos and the only constant is endless re-releases of a game that's already sold over 150 million copies worldwide.

Officially, we don't know much about this new-gen version of GTA V. What we do know is that it's releasing November 11 and will feature "expanded and enhanced" content that includes "a range of technical improvements, visual upgrades and performance enhancements to take full advantage of the console's powerful new hardware, making the game more beautiful and more responsive than ever".

Take a look at some of the best GTA V wins and fails below:

Quite what these technical improvements are remain to be seen, but Germany's PlayStation Blog appears to have confirmed that we can expect GTA V to run at 4K/60fps - at least on PlayStation 5.

"You have never seen the criminal metropolis Los Santos so beautiful when the skyline shines in crisp 4K resolution thanks to a bold graphic update," reads a rough translation. It also promises that you'll "make the city extremely smooth and unsafe thanks to a smooth 60fps".

This is the first official(ish) confirmation we've had of what exactly to expect from the new-gen GTA V. While I'm sure most of assumed that 4K and 60fps would be a given for the upgraded version of the eight-year-old game, it's good to know for sure. We'd hope this is just the tip of the iceberg and that there's more to come, too. With just a few months to go until the expanded and enhanced port launches, Rockstar will likely have more to share very soon.
