'Call Of Duty: Warzone' Players Attempt To Roadblock The Train - It Ends Badly

Epic rail.

Season 5 of Call Of Duty: Warzone brought some fairly substantial changes with it when it arrived last week. Verdansk Stadium is finally accessible to players, and is hiding all sorts of interesting secrets inside.

There's also a brand-new train that thunders around the map, offering players the chance for a high-risk, high-reward vantage point that's always on the move.

"The station buildings feature a number of inside locations to explore," Activision explained of the battle royale's locomotive. "All linked to the main ticket hall and platforms. This significantly changes the overall look, feel, and tactical outlook in and around this area of the Warzone map.

"Rolling through one of the main arterial railroad tracks that circumnavigates the southwestern part of Verdansk in a large loop, the largest and heftiest vehicle yet seen can be a source of protection, an epicenter of firefights, and even offers some exceptional takedown potential if your team claims the train for themselves, and guards it with additional vehicles and heavy weaponry."

Sure enough, players have been scrapping it out as they attempt to loot, capture, and control the train. But can it be stopped? That's a question a group of players who refer to themselves as #TeamMountainGoat attempted to answer, as they parked several cargo trucks across the tracks. As you can see for yourself below, it didn't go brilliantly.

The heavily armoured train seems for the briefest of moments as if the hastily assembled barricade will slow it down, but it ultimately thunders through unscathed, tearing up the trucks in the process. The train emerges from the tunnel in a glorious, chaotic mix of explosions and flying trucks, before carrying on along its set path.

Based on this evidence, I would imagine that it's literally impossible to stop the train as it circles Verdansk. I would also be willing to bet that this one experiment is not going to stop many, many more players from trying to derail the juggernaut by any means necessary. Season 5 has only just got going, after all.
