Warzone is about to get much bigger.

Infinity Ward seems to have teased a number of new modes for Call Of Duty: Warzone. Players who accessed the Modern Warfare free multiplayer weekend via the battle royale menu reported getting a peek at a separate menu containing a handful of new ways to play Warzone.

As you can see via the below screenshot, there seems to be three upcoming modes. While not actually accessible, they were just visible in the background of the shot and offer some clues as to the future of the popular shooter.

Battle Royale 200, we assume, simply ups the number of players in a game from 150 to 200. Plunder 200 obviously does the same for the Plunder mode. Finally, there's BR Juggernaut, which sounds pretty imposing. It's not clear whether the appearance of these three modes was an intentional move on Infinity Ward's part or not.

Infinity Ward had previously alluded to all three of these modes. Warzone launched with the ability to support 150 players per game back in March, but Infinity Ward has been teasing for a while now that the number would eventually be bumped up to 200.

Infinity Ward studio head Patrick Kelly said several months ago that the team was "already playing with 200 players", but that the game launched with 150 in order to ensure stability and performance. If Infinity Ward really is gearing up to increase the number to 200, we can probably assume the studio is confident it'll be able to pull it off without any techincal hiccups. Lets wait and see.

More recently, the developer teased that Juggernaut would be coming as part of Season 4, which launched last week. According to reports, the Juggernaut mode will see a number of Juggernaut suits dropped across the Verdansk map.

Players who scramble to get hold of these powerful suits will be gifted with increased health, a mini-gun, and the ability to jump from any height and damage nearby players with a ground-pound move.

When these Juggernauts finally fall, the player wearing the suit goes to the Gulag and a new Juggernaut suit will appear somewhere else on the map for another player to get their hands on. Sounds pretty exciting. Its appearance on the menu over the weekend also suggests that it'll be coming sooner rather than later.

Infinity Ward tends to drop larger updates around Wednesday evening/Thursday morning, so hopefully we'll see something of these new modes then.
