Ever wondered what Call Of Duty: Warzone looks like in third-person? You're in luck! Developer Raven Software has just added a brand-new mode that lets players see the first-person shooter from an entirely new perspective, but there are a few caveats.
The first and most crucial is, unfortunately, that this third-person mode is purely for spectators. You won't be able to switch perspectives until you've been eliminated during a game. Once you have bitten the bullet, your consolation prize is a whole new way of looking at the world as you follow whichever player took you out. You can even move the camera around and see things your enemy can't, which means you can kick back and enjoy the fact they're running straight into an ambush seconds after having killed you. Delicious.
Some of you are probably thinking this feature could potentially be game-breaking. The ability to spectate teammates in third-person and warn them of things they can't see would provide some unfair advantages, after all. Fortunately Raven Software has made it so that you can only spectate your foes in third-person. Watching your teammates will remain entirely in first-person.

Weirdly, Raven Software hasn't actually said anything about this new feature yet, leading to speculation that it could be a bug. This wouldn't be the first time Warzone has added a new feature without telling anyone though, and the fact it's locked to a specific key and only works when spectating enemies very much implies this was put into the game on purpose.
In other strange Warzone news, the game's long-rumoured nuclear missile event appeared to start early a few days ago thanks to - you guessed it - a bug. As caught by ModernWarzone, a huge missile was seen in Verdansk soaring through the sky before landing harmlessly in front of a player as if it were nothing more than a gently lobbed frisbee. Outstanding.
