Bioware has been teasing around a new Dragon Age for years now. Finally, the studio seems happy to talk about what it's working on, even if it's not ready to show the game itself. It's published a lot of concept art of the new game and even a few clips from behind the scenes.
As part of the Gamescom: Opening Night Live, the latest show in the all-consuming franchise that is Geoff Keighley, a number of Bioware developers talked about the broad aims of the project.

The new Dragon Age will be from the perspective of characters who have no power. The game will be about forming close relationships with a family of characters. And learning to love or hate the people around you... Someone should tell Bioware that broadly describes all the previous games. Nonetheless, at least that means it will be somewhat like the other games, which after the disappointment that was Anthem will restore some faith in the series.

Are you ready to get excited for Dragon Age or are you going to hold off until you've seen more of the game? Bioware's recent track record, while full of ambitious games, hasn't really been universally praised since Mass Effect 2, which was released way back in 2010.
Personally, I'm a fan of Inquisition, Andromeda, and I certainly didn't dislike Anthem, but it was a shame that in the case of all three games they didn't quite deliver on the promise of the initial exciting announcements.
