May The Fourth is just a few days away and what better way to spend Star Wars day than by playing a wide-variety of Star Wars games?

Below you’ll find all Star Wars games you currently play with either Xbox Game Pass or PlayStation Plus, along with which tier you’ll need.

Star Wars Games Available With Xbox Game Pass

Star Wars Outlaws- Game Pass Ultimate

Ubisoft’s first outing in the galaxy far, far away was a damn good one. It’s practically Uncharted but set in space with several open-world planets to explore, a compelling cast of characters and a distinct lack of lightsabers.

It was a very refreshing playthrough and while its DLC expansions unfortunately weren’t winners it doesn’t stop Star Wars Outlaws from being a fine Star Wars game.

STAR WARS Jedi: Fallen Order- Game Pass Ultimate

Jedi: Fallen Order combines a strong narrative with a hit-or-miss combat system. It borrows a lot from soulslikes with rest points that respawn enemies and a greater emphasis on dodging and parrying in combat.

It won’t be everyone’s cup of tea but if you can knock the difficulty down to its easiest setting, you’ll be able to enjoy a delicious story about the aftermath of Order 66, and what hope the Jedi have left for the future.

STAR WARS Jedi: Survivor- Game Pass Ultimate

Jedi: Survivor takes Jedi: Fallen Order and expands it with new lightsaber styles, larger worlds to explore and a Cal Kestus who's been around the block a couple of times.

A lot of the OG cast return but we also get some excellent new additions, including new enemies with links to the High Republic.

STAR WARS Battlefront Ultimate Edition- Game Pass Ultimate

The first Star Wars Battlefront game by Electronic Arts was something special. Seeing this game with your own eyes back in 2015 felt otherworldly and arguably the closest we got to actually being in the galaxy far, far away.

It was severely lacking in singleplayer content, which its sequel thankfully rectified but the multiplayer offering here was off the charts. Unfortunately, you won’t find many players populating its servers nowadays.

STAR WARS Battlefront II: Celebration Edition- Game Pass Ultimate

Star Wars Battlefront II is such a bizarre multiplayer game. It started its life in the worst way with heaps of microtransactions and very little substance. It paid the price for this and thankfully got its act together in the months that followed.

Nowadays, it’s one of the best multiplayer games going and while its player count is consistent all-year round, it’ll occasionally get an influx of new and returning players. May The Fourth is expected to be one of those influxes, so now’s as good of a time as any to jump in.

LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga- Game Pass Ultimate

LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga is great but can’t hold a candle to LEGO Star Wars: The Complete Saga…

That said, it's not a bad game by any means. It features the most characters in any LEGO game and turns some of the most iconic Star Wars locations into open-world maps for you to explore. You won’t find a more comprehensive grand tour of all nine Star Wars films.

STAR WARS: Squadrons- Game Pass Ultimate

Starfighter games are such a treat and yet we rarely see them nowadays. Star Wars: Squadrons might not be the best of the bunch but it’s solid and the multiplayer modes are great fun with friends.

The single-player campaign has its merits too though and sees you pilot starfighters from both the Rebels and The Empire.

Star Wars Games Available With PlayStation Plus

STAR WARS Demolition- PlayStation Plus Premium

This is an interesting one… It’s basically Mad Max or Twisted Metal but set in the Star Wars universe. After The Empire banned podracing a new sport was needed to keep the masses entertained leading to explosive deathmatches in an arena-based showdown game.

STAR WARS RACER REVENGE- PlayStation Plus Premium

If you’re excited for Star Wars: Galactic Racer, this one is a must-play. It’s not as good as the original for the Nintendo 64 in our humble opinion but it’s still a quality Star Wars racer worth playing if you’ve already got a PS Plus subscription.

STAR WARS JEDI STARFIGHTER- PlayStation Plus Premium

Like we said before, Starfighter games are a real treat. Jedi Starfighter is no exception where players are placed into the cockpit of Jedi Knight Adi Gallia, who Star Wars: The Clone Wars fans might recognise…

STAR WARS The Clone Wars- PlayStation Plus Premium

The Clone Wars have officially begun and this is your first taste of the frontlines. Take the role of Jedi and Clone as you push back Separatist forces in a varied selection of campaign missions.

STAR WARS Episode I - The Phantom Menace- PlayStation Plus Premium

Admittedly, this one hasn’t aged well. There’s bound to be plenty of gamers out there with heavy nostalgia for it though so it’s great that it’s still available to play.

If you weren’t a fan of the Phantom Menace film though you probably won’t be a fan of the video game either.

STAR WARS Rebel Assault II - The Hidden Empire- PlayStation Plus Premium

This is a fun reimagining of Star Wars if you can forgive its age. It was very much ahead of its time when it first released on the OG PlayStation and definitely one the retro gamers will want to check out.

LEGO Star Wars II: The Original Trilogy- PlayStation Plus Premium

LEGO Star Wars II: The Original Trilogy is a classic but like The Skywalker Saga why would you want anything but LEGO Star Wars: The Complete Saga? Unfortunately that game can’t be played on modern PlayStation titles, so if the PS5 is your console of choice, this is the next best thing, so thankfully it’s included with PlayStation Plus.
