Tifa Lockhart's NSFW Senate Appearance Has Had Unexpected Consequences

"Miss Italy 2022"

Every now and again something truly beautiful can happen that unites the internet, if only for a moment.

For a brief period divisions are forgotten. Old wounds are healed as everyone comes together to celebrate one incredible event. It's like when the World War I soldiers played football on Christmas day, just with more memes. So it's nothing like that, actually.

Last week, a Final Fantasy VII porn video found its way into a live Italian senate meeting. A room filled with academics, politicians, and experts looked on in horror as an Unreal Engine-animated Tifa Lockhart provided them with a graphic demonstration of Rule 34.

The blunder has, predictably, already enshrined itself in the internet hall of fame. Tifa getting railed in an Italian senate meeting will go down in history as one of the best things to ever happen. An unexpected meeting of Italian politics, gaming, and hardcore hentai. This is the internet's true potential, finally unlocked.

As you can see below, the memes this monumental event has spawned are truly exquisite. Take a look through some of the best internet reactions below:

Perhaps one of the best unintended consequences of this prank is that Lockhart appears to have been transformed from a fan-favourite Final Fantasy character into a bona-fide Italian icon for the digital age. At least that's the vibe I'm getting from Twitter. Undoubtedly those present at the senate meeting are taking a far dimmer view of what went down. Pun intended.
