Well, it's safe to say that the floodgates have well and truly opened. When Final Fantasy VII Remake finally made its way to PC after over a year of PlayStation exclusivity towards the end of 2021, we all knew that an onslaught of nude mods were coming. It was just a matter of time.
It took a while. Perhaps longer than any of us might have expected. But the sort of people who make these things for the sort of people who want these things are now starting to deliver in spades after a steady trickle, making the internet just a shade thirstier than it already was in the process.
While the NSFW mods for Resident Evil Village arrived with alarming speed, the FFVII Remake has taken a comparatively leisurely stroll.

After a few smaller mods (as spotted by DSO Gaming), NexusMods is now home to a handful of extremely NSFW creations, most of which seem to centre around Tifa Lockhart. Clearly the Italian Senate fiasco unlocked something in the modding community.
The most recent mod (again, super NSFW link here) has clearly had so much work put into it that I don't know if I'm genuinely impressed or just slightly alarmed. I'll let you decide for yourselves, I think.
Assuming Final Fantasy VII Remake follows a similar trajectory to Resident Evil Village, which I'm sure it will, it doubtless won't be long until there are similar mods for Cloud, Barret, and the rest of the Avalanche crew. A little something for everyone, assuming you're the kind of person who plays with these mods. I'm not here to judge. But I am going to quietly step away now.
