Fallout 5 be damned, New Vegas is finally returning

What happens in Vegas...

While so many of us are eagerly awaiting any news on Fallout 5 from Bethesda - unlikely to happen anytime soon - the Amazon adaptation is storming ahead.

Bethesda won’t be getting back to Fallout for quite some time as they finish off The Elder Scrolls VI, so for wasteland adventures, we’ll have to look to Fallout season two.

We sat down with the stars of Fallout for some silly times

If you haven’t watched the first season of Fallout, you might want to dip out of this one, as we’re about to spoil the ending.

Still here? Then you’ll know that the end of Fallout season one showed us we’ll be going to Las Vegas, or as we know it, New Vegas.

A major highlight in the Fallout series - some would say it’s the best - we’re all-in on returning to Vegas for the next adventure.

If you want to get a sneaky look at the set design, it has appeared on TikTok, via user Onzo1313, and reported by Eurogamer.

In the shaky video footage, we get to see Lucky 38, the casino where Mr. House rules over the Vegas strip, and it seems the Amazon production has gone all-out on the lights, neon, and style.

Due to the relatively shiny condition of Vegas, it’s likely this set is for a flashback sequence, and it will probably be destroyed for the wasteland perspective.

In a second video, there’s a glimpse of Michael Angelo's workshop, also found on the strip of Vegas - it seems there will be plenty of nods for fans to spot when the show debuts.

Earlier this year, while on a promo tour, Walton Goggins discussed the upcoming season of Fallout, saying, “This blows it out of the water, what these writers have done and the artisans that have come together to tell this story.”

For now, you can forget about Bethesda and Fallout 5, and focus on this trip down memory lane.
