Fans of Fallout 5 are concerned following a rumour related to the other upcoming Bethesda RPG, The Elder Scrolls VI.
When it comes to highly anticipated RPGs, it doesn't get much hotter than Bethesda’s The Elder Scrolls and Fallout series.
Both offer vastly different open worlds to explore (one being fantasy and the other post-apocalyptic), memorable characters, fun missions and intense gameplay.

It’s why, whenever a new game arrives from either series, it’s a huge deal for the video game industry, with the likes of The Elder Scrolls VI and Fallout 5 surely being no exception.
While The Elder Scrolls VI was announced in 2018, Fallout 5 has yet to have such an announcement. That being said, Bethesda head honcho Todd Howard has at least confirmed that Fallout 5 will arrive at some point.
It’s widely expected that Fallout 5 will be released after The Elder Scrolls VI; however, some fans believe that might not entirely be the case.
“So there's a rumour from Jez Cordan stating that the higher-ups are looking to expedite the next Fallout game, so they can ride its release on the TV show hype wave,” said Redditor PalwaJoko. “It also got me wondering how this is going to impact The Elder Scrolls VI.”

“Chasing monthly TV trends when you have a 7-year game dev cycle is just stupid,” replied breathnac.
“It's not going to happen. The Elder Scrolls VI will be out, and then Fallout 5. People are just letting the rumours run wild because of the hype around the TV show,” exclaimed cubcos.
“There’s a 0% chance that Bethesda shelves The Elder Scrolls VI to start Fallout 5; they’ve already started full development of TESVI, “ claimed Apprehensive-Bank642.
As always, we should take all unconfirmed rumours with a pinch of salt until proven otherwise. We’ll keep you posted when we hear of any new information regarding The Elder Scrolls VI and Fallout 5.
