Fallout 4 Player Blown Away By Secret Area After 800 Hours

Did you know about this?

A Fallout 4 player has discovered a secret area in the post-apocalyptic wasteland after playing for 800 hours, and it is one that some of us may have missed.

The Fallout series from Bethesda is one of the most popular RPG properties in the video game industry, which is why it’s remained so beloved ever since it was first released on PC in 1997 (before it was a Bethesda/Microsoft-owned property).

Since that time, we’ve seen many sequels, spin-offs, board games, countless merch and now, fans are looking forward to season two of the critically acclaimed live-action series from Amazon.

However, when it comes to the Fallout franchise, it never gets better than its video game offerings, in my humble opinion.

Perhaps the best of the video game entries is Fallout 4, originally released in 2015 on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, before its free new-gen update in 2024.

“As the sole survivor of Vault 111, you enter a world destroyed by nuclear war. Every second is a fight for survival, and every choice is yours. Only you can rebuild and determine the fate of the Wasteland. Welcome home,” reads the synopsis of Fallout 4.

Even to this day, the open-world map of Fallout 4 is considered to be quite big, packed with compelling story missions, side-quests, NPCs, secrets to discover and more. One such secret has been discovered by Reddit user MrMFPuddles.

“Over 800 hours in-game and I’m still finding new places,” they said. “I have to admit the world itself is just huge.”

“I’ve always taken the egg back to Diamond City, but decided to play the environmentalist this time around, and was rewarded by finding this dope-ass spot tucked away in the hills.”

“Where is that?” asked Seanboss101, to which MrMFPuddles replied, “Lynn Woods! Northwest of Parsons Asylum. I don’t want to spoil anything, but the surrounding area is pretty dangerous.”

“I have never seen this place. Guess I'd better jump on and find it!” said Organboner4844.

“Did you go to the top of the tower and flip the switch?” replied DoctorSpaghetti, and MrMFPuddles responded, “Oh yeah. Chaos ensued.”

“Reddit spoiled this place for me (my fault though), and I was still freaked out,” declared chr_sb.

Fallout 4 is available with an Xbox Game Pass subscription at no extra cost and is typically included in PlayStation Plus. So, if for some reason you’ve never played this classic RPG, you might want to change that ASAP.
