Elden Ring meets Skyrim new open-world RPG you won't wanna miss

There can never be enough RPGs to sink your teeth into and this upcoming release promises to combine the best of Elden Ring and The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim in one exciting fantasy MMORPG.

From the creators of Warframe, Soulframe is an upcoming fantasy MMORPG which was first announced back in 2022.

Set to release some time this year, Soulframe was recently featured at Tennocon 2024 where developers Digital Extremes showcased 17-minutes of gameplay.

However, you may first be asking what this upcoming MMORPG is about so let’s take a look at its official synopsis.

“Washed ashore on the northern isle of Midrath, a new adventure begins. Omen beasts in Ode’n chain bellow in mourning. The voicing trees sag ‘long tortured streams.

The worldflesh of Alca splits with rage. Who will find the Silvern Seas and awaken our Ancestors? Who will learn the melodies of soul unbinding, and break the gaunting spellsong?

Who will hold in their heart the wanderers, the wild, the world? You will, Envoy.”

As you can see, it is pretty cryptic but we do know we will follow a rogue Ode (or sky person) who has seemingly left their group for a reason yet unknown.

With gameplay inspired by Elden Ring and other Souslike titles, players will take part in basic fantasy battle as well as focusing on three different skill trees: Courage, Grace and Spirit.

There are also a lot of environmental advantages to combat and you can ride a wolf. Need I say more?

With an open-world akin to The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, Soulframe is not one to miss out on when it releases last this year.
