Arriving amidst hardly any marketing and yet a stellar cast, Dispatch has taken the video game sphere by storm in recent weeks and now that its first season is over, fans are hoping that a second is on the cards.
Developed by AdHoc, a studio consisting of former Telltale developers, Dispatch is a “superhero workplace comedy” where choices matter.
Released two episodes at a time, the game’s first season came to an end last week and it seems as though both its cast and fans are hoping that it will be picked up for a second season.
However, at the time of writing, the future of Dispatch has not been announced and with a long hiatus ahead of us, it seems as though some major studios are hearing our pleas.

Consisting of eight episodes, Dispatch has found itself becoming one of the highest rated video game releases of the year, with many believing that it could be a last-minute Game of the Year contender.
Selling over one million units within just ten days, it has since received critical acclaim so it would be a shame not to see its story continue.
Well, that is definitely what lead actor Aaron Paul seems to think.
In an interview with Moist Critikal, a content creator who also plays the role of Sonar in Dispatch, Paul said:
“I hope that you and I get to do multiple seasons of this game. I hope we get to do more”.

It seems even Sony is behind a Season 2
Perhaps most excitedly however, is that the social media manager behind the official PlayStation UK Twitter account also seems to be sympathising with fans.
“Realising there's no new Dispatch episodes this week,” they shared, alongside a GIF version of Dispatch’s Phenomaman walking away sadly in one of his depressive episodes.
At the moment, AdHoc is reportedly hard at work developing an official Critical Role video game which makes sense considering that the two companies work closely together.
However, that means that if Dispatch season two was confirmed, it would still be quite a few years away from launch.
That being said, with both fans and its cast calling for more, it would be silly for AdHoc Studio not to bring us more of our dysfunctional superheroes.
We at GAMINGbible were lucky enough to play Dispatch and our very own Kate Harrold loved it, calling it “one of the greatest of all time”.
“Dispatch is an all-time great, and I hope we’ll see it contend for GOTY,” her review reads.
“After an incredibly successful season, Adhoc’s developers totally deserve to put their feet up and luxuriate within all of this success … not for too long though. I’d quite like a second season please.”
