The Dead Space remake launched on PC and consoles recently and has been met with high critical acclaim. However, it's missing a major feature.

One of the benefits of playing on the PlayStation 5 is the fantastic features of the DualSense controller. The haptic feedback and adaptive triggers provide an added level of immersion that wasn't possible on the PS4.

Check out the trailer for the game here:

With the DualSense controller, you can feel the pull of Ellie’s bow from The Last of Us, the gritty terrain of DiRT 5 or the web-slinging antics of Peter Parker and Miles Morales in Marvel’s Spider-Man. To be fair, unless you’ve experienced the DualSense features, it's quite hard to explain.

Thankfully, now that Sony is porting more of its PlayStation exclusives to PC, DualShock and DualSense compatibility is a necessity. What’s more, when using the DualSense controller on PC, players were hoping to take advantage of its snazzy feedback features.

Sadly, those that were hoping to take advantage of the DualSense features while playing the Dead Space remake on PC are currently out of luck. The controller feels different depending on the weapon that Isaac equips, and as there are a fair few unique guns to be found, this is just one immersive element that really grounds in the horror. Dead Space fans have been sharing their disappointment on Reddit.

“I really don't understand this trend of games not having pc support for DualSense features when the ps5 version has them,” said meltingpotato. “They don't care. Multi-billion companies won't do what a couple of lads on GitHub are capable of. Pure greed. This honestly pisses me off,” replied Hot-Preparation-5011

It’s disappointing that PC gamers are missing out on the DualSense features, as the impressive controller feedback is unlike anything most other controllers can provide. Hopefully, those at Sony, as well as current Dead Space developer Motive Studio, are listening to fans, and more games will feature full DualSense support on PC. The Dead Space remake is out now for PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
