Sci-fi horror fans have always had one franchise at the forefront of their minds, Dead Space. The original game recently received a spectacular remake and left players begging for more. According to a post on Twitter, this may be happening.
As it stands, EA may have just leaked their own game. In the post, the EA Gear Store which sells merchandise and apparel, tweeted a technical plan poster of the plasma cutter from the Dead Space franchise. So far, so good. However, they used an image from Dead Space 2 as the background to the image.
Dead Space 2 is often cited as the best entry in the franchise.
Now, this could have been an honest mistake, but it wasn’t long ago that EA was directly asking fans how they would feel about a Dead Space 2 and Dead Space 3 remake in an email survey. Now we’re putting one and one together and seeing the correct answer. If it’s on the minds of those at EA, and given the success of the previous remake we wouldn’t be surprised, it would make sense that this tweet could be a bit of a tease.

Fans are, understandably, losing their minds. One fan resorted to all caps, which as we all know, is serious business, “REMAKE THE 2ND GAME I'M BEGGING YOU EA GEAR STORE INTERN.” Another fan got right into it saying, “So what you’re telling me.. is that, the Dead Space 2 remake is in the works or close to be done.”
Of course, at this point, EA isn’t saying anything. Well, anything more, anyway. So, as with all the other Dead Space fans, we’ll be sitting in the corner echoing the sentiments of this fan on Twitter, “I am so ready to shove another needle in Isaac’s eye in glorious 4K.” Just give us the details EA, you cowards!
