Whether it’s Dark Souls, Bloodborne or Elden Ring, no one does lore quite like FromSoftware which is why fans can still be talking about its games many releases after its release.

Perhaps the deepest FromSoftware series in terms of lore, is Dark Souls. Sure, Bloodborne and Elden Ring are soaked in glorious lore but considering that Darks Souls has had three releases as well as expansions, it’s been soaked in more lore than any other FromSoftware titles to date.

The last game to be released in the Dark Souls series was the third numbered entry in 2016 for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. It’s unlikely that we’ll get a new Dark Souls game anytime soon but if you’re dying to be drenched in Kingdom of Lordran lore, then we’ve got you covered.

Released in 2019 by Future Press and in collaboration with FromSoftware and Bandai Namco, the Dark Souls Trilogy Compendium was every fan's dream giving us all the lore and plenty of new secrets that we could handle. It was also a very stylish-looking book that would look rather snazzy on any collector’s shelf.

Sadly, however, the Dark Souls Trilogy Compendium would quickly sell out from retail stores and the only way to acquire this glorious book of lore would be via independent sellers at obscene prices. Thankfully, Future Press is releasing Dark Souls Trilogy Compendium 25th Anniversary Edition but you’re gonna act fast to avoid missing out again.

The Dark Souls Trilogy Compendium is back! A special 25th Anniversary Limited Edition reprint will be released in February 2024. The book is initially available exclusively at https://t.co/IbtMHSq7he, and pre-orders are open now. (1/2) pic.twitter.com/AvMoTznuRl

The “strictly limited one-time reprint” of the Dark Souls Trilogy Compendium 25th Anniversary Edition was released in February 2024 in the UK, and luckily, you still have the chance to acquire this book at its intended RRP (pretty much). The Dark Souls Trilogy Compendium 25th Anniversary Edition is currently available via Amazon UK but does have a waiting list of one to three months, assuming that new stock doesn't arrive later.

As for Amazon US, you can pre-order the Dark Souls Trilogy Compendium 25th Anniversary Edition with a release date of 15 April 2024. So if you missed out on this book in hardback form, now is the chance to claim this wonderful item.

The next FromSoftware entry will be the highly anticipated Elden Ring expansion, Shadow of the Erdtree which will be released on 20 June 2024.
