Cyberpunk 2077 update lets you adopt your very own pet

Cyberpunk 2077's latest update now lets you snap photos with Nibbles the cat - here's how to adopt the stray with a taste for the finer things in life.

Travel to the Megabuilding H10: Atrium fast travel point, where you will then see a bin with a datashard poking out of the top of the rubbish along a corridor to the right next to apartment 0721. Pick up the shard in the bin which will then tell you that the local stray cat is very particular about their diet and will only eat one type of pet food. Food vendors sell that brand, even though pets are an immense financial luxury in Night City, and the closest vendors to the apartment are near Kabuki Market, the Creek Loop fast travel point and the Clarendon Street fast travel point.

Return to the apartment complex and put the food down in the bowl next to the bin. Wait a few hours, and when you come back to the bowl, Nibbles will be wolfing down that premium tofu and tuna mix. Once she's finished, V will be able to pick Nibbles up, and a cutscene inside V's apartment will play, with the little cat having claimed the washing basket as her throne. The cat will be there every time you enter the apartment, enjoying her life a lot more now that she's off the streets. If you also adopted the iguana, Nibbles will interact with their strange-looking sibling.

If you play Cyberpunk 2077 on PC, there are mods that change Nibbles' appearance to a range of coat colours, so be sure to take a look at those. Also, the new update adds Nibbles to photo mode - scroll to "Pose," then "Character," and the option to include Nibbles will be shown.
