Cyberpunk 2077 fans are expecting new content for the game in the near future, believing CD Projekt Red is teasing it through recent posts.

For the foreseeable future Cyberpunk 2077 is finished, with CD Projekt Red likely going all-in with development for The Witcher IV.

While it’s a fantastic game right now Cyberpunk 2077 is still marked by that abysmal launch, and I’m sure many fans will remember that more DLC was promised compared to what we actually got, although the Dogtown expansion was fantastic nonetheless.

Now fans think more DLC is coming, nothing huge like a story expansion but something and they’re blaming CD Projekt Red’ latest posts for making them think so.

“They are definitely teasing something” began a post by dejinerlaunda, “who are these new characters, are they releasing a new expansion? My guess is something related to a prequel to Orion or a live-action series or new anime series.”

CD Projekt Red recently shared a calendar with characters we have seen before but others that were brand-new, sparking many to believe something is on the way.

“Wonder if it’s the fixers' days and we get more little gigs around the city. Not a full blown expansion but some fun stuff to do when the switch version drops” theorised one fan.

Another thought an “extra content update for the Switch 2 version” would be more likely, probably correct as well given the game’s arrival on the Nintendo Switch 2 is a pretty big deal.

“Man I just want them to add the infinite bounties they were teasing before the last update. The game would literally be perfect for me at that point” said one more fan.

Who knows what CD Projekt Red is teasing, it could be something, it could be nothing, guess we’ll just have to wait and see what it’ll be.
