Cyberpunk 2077 fans hyped by surprise new trailer

We'll be needing these

Cyberpunk 2077 players are celebrating an upcoming release; not a new game unfortunately, but it’s still pretty good.

No, we're going to have to wait a long while before the next Cyberpunk game comes out, and who knows what type of game it’ll be.

First CD Projekt RED will be getting The Witcher IV out the door.

Would it be Cyberpunk 2077 2? Or maybe Cyberpunk 2078? Maybe a prequel set before the events of the game where you play the whole thing as Johnny Silverhand, who knows?

Anyway, while you’re waiting for the next game, a deck of playing cards modelled after the title’s characters has been announced.

Featuring characters like Johnny, our beloved king Jackie, and Adam Smasher, these cards are stylish and work as either decorative pieces or actual cards to play with.

“Bought some, opening my illegal in-house casino with these,” joked one of the fans in response to the announcement post, with another adding, “Ohhhhh these are super cool I need them!”

They do look pretty good, but the announcement did spawn another question, when are we getting Misty’s tarot cards?

“But when will the tarot card deck be a real thing,” asked one fan, and another said, “I just want the oracle deck.”

The tarot card mission was great in Cyberpunk 2077, and it was tied to some wonderful storytelling regarding V and their story throughout the game, so it’d be nice to have a physical version to add to our merch collection.

Hopefully, it happens one day but for now these playing cards will do, they look great and it was a great idea to have the characters from the game be the faces of the cards.

Enjoy these little releases while you can, as it’ll be a long while before anything substantial comes out relating to Cyberpunk 2077, like a new game.
