Cyberpunk 2077 fans are continuing to get that princess treatment as CD Projekt RED has announced yet another platform that players can dive into the hit RPG on.

The years of Cyberpunk 2077 being known for its less-than-smooth launch back in 2020 are over as, thanks to the tireless work of CD Projekt RED, it is now widely regarded as one of the best RPGs of all time.

Thanks to dedication, updates, patches, and even its expansion Phantom Liberty, Cyberpunk 2077 has gone from strength to strength and it continues to do so thanks to its 2.3 Update which will be unveiled later today.

Not only can fans look forward to brand-new content but it seems as though they can also look forward to playing Cyberpunk 2077 on the go as CDPR has announced yet another platform which the RPG will be arriving on.

“Buckle up, Mac chooms, 'cause we’ve got news you’ve been waiting for!” The official Tweet reads.

“You'll be chippin' into the dark future 52 years early, when the Mac version of Cyberpunk 2077: Ultimate Edition drops July 17th, 2025!”

That is right, Cyberpunk 2077 will be arriving on Mac and not only that, but it will be the enhanced version which was recently made available on the Nintendo Switch 2.

Additionally, CDPR has confirmed that everybody who has previously purchased the game (base game, base game + Phantom Liberty, or Ultimate Edition) on Steam, GOG, or Epic Games Store will receive access to the Mac version at no extra charge.

We do not yet know the recommended specs but fans have been told to “stay tuned” for more information in this regard.

One fan was over the moon with the news and wrote, “So I can take Night City away with me on vacation? And continue my PC cloud saves? EPIC if true, that's next level netrunnin’”.

User Shade also summed it up perfectly when they said, “If someone skipped Cyberpunk 2077 when it first dropped and decides to play it now … they’re basically getting the complete experience.

It’s literally the fully realised version of the best games out there.”

So if you want to dive into Night City on Mac, look forward to the Mac version of Cyberpunk 2077: Ultimate Edition which drops on 17 July.
