Cyberpunk 2077 mod lets you explore Night City with friends

Cyberpunk 2077 mod lets you explore Night City with friends

Everything is better with friends

One thing that many RPGs feature that was sadly missing from Cyberpunk 2077, is companions. You’ve got to love rolling through the world with a buddy at your side.

CD Projekt Red didn’t give us the chance to take people like Judy out into Night City with us, fighting alongside us, going out to random noodle spots. But this mod changes all of that.

Cyberpunk 2077 has been receiving updates since the DLC launch but is slowly wrapping up

If you’re itching to take your love interest out as a companion, you can do it. You can even stop in the middle of a mission and have a sneaky cuddle, or a quick smooch.

It’s all thanks to the Companions of Night City, a mod created to make us feel less alone in the big wide world.

In order to team up with anyone, you have to have completed their questline first, after this you can choose for them to accompany you anywhere.

The mod also introduces an affinity system that causes your mate to get jealous if you visit another companion, or of course, if you decide to bump uglies with someone else.

Apparently, at level 50 affinity, your companion will arrive on the scene in their own car, which is a lovely feature. The same as the new voice lines which, though they’re obviously created using an AI program, it does help with the immersion.

You can choose from several companions including Judy, Panam, Rogue, and Kerry, and there are several commands you can give them when out in Night City. This includes urging them to fight or drive you to a location.

The mod has over 13K downloads and seems to be enjoyed by a number of fans who are enjoying the company of some of the game’s best characters. It’s well worth exploring this for your next playthrough of Cyberpunk 2077.
