Cyberpunk 2077's Johnny Silverhand officially returns in new DLC

Here's comes Johnny

Fortnite’s devs may be on their annual winter break, but they’ve left us with plenty of treats this festive season.

The game’s Winterfest is underway, with the Chapter 6, Season 1 map now blanketed in snow - and yes, Mariah Carey really did defrost in the centre of it.

Look, that’s just the way Fortnite is now. You simply accept and don’t question it.

Immerse yourself in the wackiness. I mean I have no idea what a Skibidi Toilet is but I’ve accepted that it now exists in-game.

Skibidi Toilet aside, Fortnite is killing it with the crossovers lately.

The Ninja Knight Batman and Karuta Harley Quinn skins, which have recently hit the shop, are just chef’s kiss, and a samurai take on Star Wars’ Darth Vader is also on the way.

Today though, it’s news of a Cyberpunk 2077 crossover that I want to share.

After months of rumours, CD Projekt RED has finally confirmed that a few familiar faces will soon be hopping on the battle bus.

Take a look at Fortnite’s latest season in action below.

“We’re expecting some guests from Night City,” Epic Games tweeted following a teaser from CDPR.

The accompanying video confirms that it’s Keanu Reeves’ Johnny Silverhand and the female iteration of V that’ll be landing in the game.

Those will be alongside the Flathead backbling, Johnny’s Duffel Bag backbling, Night City lights wrap, Mantis Blades pickaxe, Silverhand’s Katana pickaxe, Johnny Silverhand’s Guitar (for use in Fortnite Festival), and the Quadra Turbo-R car and Turbo-R tires (for use in Rocket Racing).

For those who want the full collection, a Night City Denizens Bundle will seemingly be available.

As for when the collab drops, well, that appears to be today: Monday 23 December.

During today’s item shop refresh, Johnny and V will be made available, ready for players to purchase and download.

No pricing has yet been confirmed but I’d expect the individual Johnny and V skins to set you back 1,500 V-Bucks if they’re to be on par with other recent collaborations.

I look forward to seeing the map filled with chooms tonight.
