Cyberpunk 2077 is returning in a new DLC coming later this month.
One of the best things about Cyberpunk 2077 is that it kept getting better over the years following that botched launch.
It’s not like CD Projekt Red just released it, and then moved on to the next project. We got a brand new expansion, countless bug fixes plus many quality-of-life improvements and other overhauls.
It’s because of that extra support that Cyberpunk 2077 remains an RPG favourite to this day. It likely wouldn’t be as popular as it currently is without the love and support CDPR gave it in the years since.

Announced at EVO 2025, a short trailer released by Arc System Works showed a first look at Lucy’s design and moveset. Lucy is the final character released as part of Guilty Gear Strive’s Season Pass 4, and will be arriving on 21st August, 2025.

“OH MY GOD I WANNA PLAY,” one fan writes excitedly on X (formerly Twitter).
“I think this is my sign to get into Guilty Gear,” a second fan writes.
“Now this is how you do an IP crossover DLC,” writes another. “Take f***ing notes people.”
Cyberpunk: Edgerunners is the Netflix anime adaptation set in the same world as Cyberpunk 2077. It received one season in 2022, with a second season confirmed to be in the works earlier this year.

The show is set about a year before the game, and follows the impulse yet talented street kid David Martinez, who becomes an “edgerunner”, a high-tech mercenary who survives on the wrong side of the law.
Lucy is a netrunner who introduces David to the criminal underworld of Night City, and also becomes romantically linked to him.
