Call Of Duty has teased a new crossover starring The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live protagonists Rick Grimes and Michonne.

The two zombie-slaying survivors will be joining Call of Duty: Warzone and Call Of Duty Modern Warfare 3 as new operators, to celebrate the upcoming spin-off The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live. The new TV show will follow the pair as they reunite and officially mark the return of Rick, who left the show in Season Nine before making a surprise appearance in the show’s final episode.

Check out the trailer for The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live below.

The pair will make their debut in the Call Of Duty world to celebrate Season Two, which sounds like it’ll be zombie-related in some shape or form. Announcing the new season the company said, “Face the Horde in Season 2 of Call of Duty Warzone and MW3 coming February 7.”

Any fan of The Walking Dead will love to see the official announcement for Rick and Michonne which was creatively presented through a Call Of Duty version of the show’s opening credits. Complete with the iconic theme tune, it featured in-game locations painted with that yellow-y tint the opening credits uses, as well as pictures of the two survivors in the background.

This of course isn’t the first crossover Call Of Duty has been part of, as the franchise has featured special appearances from a number of different films, TV shows and games. Notable examples include Godzilla Vs Kong, Tomb Raider, superheroes from The Boys and horror icons like Michael Myers.
