3-year-old Call Of Duty 'beast' is absolutely destroying every player he meets

A three-year-old child has gone viral after his mother posted a clip of him apparently playing Call of Duty Mobile on an iPad, but naturally, there's not been a unanimous consensus that this is an impressive thing.

TikToker darienreneee captioned the clip "I wonder how people would feel if they knew a 3yr old is playing them in Call of Duty" as the little one babbled away. While we've gotten a lot of stories of older gamers dipping into the hobby over the course of the pandemic, this player hasn't even started school yet. "Imagine trash talking and finding out the other side is quite literally a toddler," commented one, with other mothers corroborating that their young children love to play Call of Duty too. "Hell nah if i knew a 3yr old killed me on COD im quitting gaming forever [sic]," joked a player.

Of course, some are concerned that this game is completely inappropriate for a three-year-old to be engaging with. "This kid is going places. Not school. But places," snarked a TikTok user. "Congratulations, you already have a video game addict," warned another.

"Playing COD at this level obviously requires practice. The American Academy of Paediatrics recommends zero screen time at ages 0-2 and one hour per day of selective screen time, i.e. of educational programs, at ages 2-5," said Melbourne University's Professor Ofir Turel in a statement to Yahoo News, continuing to claim that studies concluded that children at this age racking up hours on screens see poorer cognitive and social development milestones.

Young children are always learning from their parents and caregivers, and there were plenty of people in the comments of the TikTok reminiscing over the times they'd spent on the N64 and other consoles before they had hit double digits. It is an interesting point of contention, that's for certain.
