An upcoming RPG that seems to mix Assassin’s Creed and The Witcher has now got a free beta for you to check out.

Where Winds Meet is an RPG that blends authentic real-world history, as Assassin’s Creed does, with legend and mythology like The Witcher.

Originally released in China at the end of 2024, Where Winds Meet is expected to release worldwide on PS5 and PC sometime in 2025, and we now have a beta test date.

Everstone Studio is currently taking closed beta signups for Where Winds Meet until 24th July, at which point invites will be sent out for players to participate in. The beta will be available for both PS5 and PC players.

Invite codes will start rolling out on 23rd July, so you have a few more days to sign up if you’d like to check the game out.

As for the beta itself, it’ll begin at 7PM PT on 24th July, and run until 9PM PT on 31st July, so you’ll have a week to check the game out and test all its features.

You can find the beta signup form here. You’ll need to answer some basic questions about your experience and preferences with gaming, as well as some contact information before submitting.

As for what’s included in the beta, Everstone Studio has been a bit secretive about the actual content. However, we do know that it’ll include controller support for PC players and several languages.

Progress made in the beta will also not be transferred to the main game at launch, so try not to get too attached to your playthrough as you’re playing.

There is no set worldwide release date for Where Winds Meet yet, only that it is expected to launch sometime in 2025.

Considering this beta test is being marketed as “The Final Test”, it’s likely that we’ll get a release date announcement pretty soon after the beta ends.
