Assassin's Creed Mirage free game giveaway announced by Ubisoft

It has officially been a year since Assassin’s Creed Mirage was first released and to celebrate, Ubisoft is giving it away for free.

As the 13th major instalment and the most recent entry in the Assassin's Creed series, Assassin’s Creed Mirage launched in October of last year.

Receiving mostly positive reviews, this entry saw Ubisoft’s historical action-adventure game head to ninth century Baghdad, and introduced us to new assassin, Basim Ibn Ishaq.

In our review, we called Assassin’s Creed Mirage “a leap of faith that sticks the landing”.

“For all of you who fell out of love with the Assassin’s Creed series during the RPG games, I'd urge you to take a leap of faith with Assassin’s Creed Mirage, I don't think you'll be disappointed.”

To celebrate its one-year anniversary, the official Assassin’s Creed Twitter account has announced an exciting giveaway.

“To celebrate the one year anniversary of the launch of Assassin's Creed Mirage, we're giving away free keys every week this month,” the post reads.

If you missed out last year, then you are in luck as you can be one of four winners.

All you have to do to enter is like the post and comment with the eagle emoji.

The post also asks which platform you are ready to play on so we can assume that it will be available for players on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S and PC.

The post has already garnered almost 40k entries so make sure to hurry over if you want to be in with a chance.

This will be the perfect time to try out Assassin’s Creed Mirage if you haven’t already, especially considering the next entry, Assassin’s Creed Shadows, has been delayed until February 2025.
