Assassin's Creed meets Horizon Zero Dawn in jaw-dropping open world RPG

Assassin's Creed meets Horizon Zero Dawn in jaw-dropping open world RPG

Prepare for your jaw to drop when you see this game

Many games are being teased that have us in awe, but few have us picking our jaws off the floor. Yet, that’s what an upcoming open-world RPG has done to us, in what's best described as Assassin’s Creed meets Horizon Zero Dawn.

We’re talking obscenely stunning graphics, to the point that we struggle to believe that only one developer – yes, one – has worked on this project. But as the gameplay footage confirms, this is a passion project of an incredibly dedicated Korean dev, who is now hoping to expand the team to get this game out there.

Horizon Forbidden West boasts a stunning open world.

Gray has no estimated release date as of yet, however, that isn’t stopping gamers from begging for more. And we can’t blame them – this game looks epic! It gives even the new Assassin’s Creed a run for its money. It’s futuristic, it has deadly encounters, and it pulls no punches as it throws you into a world far removed from our own. Again, if you enjoyed Horizon Zero Dawn, you’re going to really love this.

“If this gameplay is real, then I must say this game looks amazing,” responded @nickfrank4936 on YouTube. “Besides the graphics being insane, I'm more impressed by the choice of the Korean developer to use a Native American theme. It just looks so interesting, and I’d love to know more about the game world and lore etc. I haven’t seen a game as unique as this in a long time.”

Another interested party commented, “Impressive! My mind is blown away by what one person can develop with the right tools available to them. Certainly, I will support this project in any possible [way], I want this game to be in as many gamers' libraries as possible.”

We’re not sure if this will be console only or available on PC. Given the kind of audience and market Gray is trying to tap into, we suspect that both PlayStation and Xbox will be part of the project’s launch… assuming the game eventually gets released. We really hope it does because it holds such potential.
