Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced is filled to the brim with secrets, as Ubisoft has taken full advantage of the expanded map to reshuffle its collectibles with fresh hiding places.
Players recently re-discovered the Explorer’s Outfit, a clothing item that was previously feared to be lost until it was found in a random chest beneath the sea. Turns out it was part of Ubisoft’s upcoming treasure hunt side-activity, but the gamers acted quicker than the developers expected.
Now they’ve discovered how to obtain the contents from a chest in Grand Cayman, which appears to be unobtainable at first glance.

The chest is located on a cliff that the player can’t scale, as there are no indents or ridges for Edward to clamber up as he can with other walls.

In a video on X kevincreednews shared a simple trick to get up to the cliff without any fancy parkour tricks; getting hammered.
All you need to do is stop by the tavern and order yourself some rum. Edward will gulp it down like Captain Jack Sparrow, but instead of setting off to bring yourself that horizon you should keep drinking instead.
Once Edward has drunk enough he’ll pass out, but seemingly go on his own inebriated adventure that the player isn’t present for. He’ll wake up in a pile of hay situated next to the chest up on the cliff, allowing you to claim your prize.
🟦There is a chest in Grand Cayman which is unreachable by climbing. Here is how you can get it

🔹Drink Rum until you blackout, so you can wakeup from the haystack near the chest.
🔹Reward: Yoke-Form Vessel - which needed for the "Dilettante" Trophy/Achievement#AssassinsCreed… pic.twitter.com/NR4NU4TRpC
Inside the chest you’ll find the collectible item Yoke-Form Vessel, which isn’t as exciting as a new outfit or skins for your ship, but still a nice find. It’s also an essential item for anyone looking to acquire all of the game’s trophies/achievements, as it’s tied to the one called Dilettante. If you want to beat the game 100% you need the Yoke-From Vessel.
Now kevincreednews’s method works like a charm and it should also give you a good laugh to see Edward in such a sorry state. It also seems to be the intended method as there’s a drunk man standing up there already when you first arrive, giving you a clue as to how to join him.
However, another method was shared in the comments by ginebraman. While you definitely can’t climb up the cliff manually, you can scale the nearby viewpoint. With a tell-timed jump to the right you can land right next to the drunken man.
It’s a more efficient use of your time no doubt, but it’s not as fun as getting plastered off rum is it?
The burning question we have is what is it about Grand Cayman alcohol that’s sending men up cliffs? And was the person who stashed the chest up there equally as drunk? We don’t need sleep, we need answers.
