Ahsoka season two is currently in the works and while I’m sure we’re getting bored of waiting, it'll probably be worth it in the end.
It wasn’t the perfect Star Wars show but its first season gave us some incredible moments, the best of all being the return of Hayden Christensen as Anakin Skywalker, and he’s down to do more.
Anakin will apparently return in the show’s second season either as a Force Ghost or via more flashbacks, and it's the fight between the former Jedi and his now grown-up apprentice we’ll be focusing on today.
In order to respark Ahsoka’s tenacity and will to win Anakin spars with her, channeling the Dark Side and goading her so she’d overcome her past trauma of letting him fall. Free of that grief and those negative thoughts she emerged back into reality as a stronger Jedi, though not before nearly giving into the Dark Side herself…

As some viewers will have spotted when the pair’s lightsabers clash Ahsoka can be seen with yellow eyes, a trait Sith Lords have when they allow themselves to be consumed.
While Ahsoka is definitely on the right side of the force it does imply there’s a little bit of dark left in her, which sets up some interesting potential plot points for the show’s second season.

Something stirs on Peridea
At the end of the first season Ahsoka and Sabine are stranded on Peridea, an ancient world with remnants of a bygone civilisation.

Fans are speculating it’s a world with a strong connection to the Force, particularly The Father, Son, and Daughter seen in Star Wars: The Clone Wars. They’re also known as the Ones,
The Son is a powerful wielder of the Dark Side, and it’s speculated he’ll return in live-action during Ahsoka season two, potentially tempting the Jedi towards her more darker tendencies. Some statues seen in the first season support this theory, though nothing has been confirmed just yet.
At the moment all we can do is theorise, though fans are adamant that the second season will harken back to that Star Wars: Clone Wars arc and bring back some of the galaxy’s oldest and strangest characters…
Ahsoka’s second season is said to debut on Disney+ sometime next year, a whole three years after the first season, though an exact release date hasn’t been shared as of yet.
