Star Wars legend Hayden Christensen wants more live-action Clone Wars

We want more, but we know we shouldn't...

Star Wars legend Hayden Christensen is once again down to return as Anakin Skywalker, exploring everyone’s favourite part of the Star Wars canon.

Ever since Hayden Christensen returned as Anakin in the Obi-Wan Kenobi series, and later the Ahsoka series, it’s been at the top of fan’s wishlists to see him come back for even more.

His appearance in Ahsoka was arguably the most moving, and it even gave us Hayden’s version of the character in his iconic Clone Wars fit

Fans have been begging to see him explore more of the Clone Wars in live-action, and he’s more than happy to oblige.

In an interview with Hayden at Star Wars Celebration the question was asked if he’d be down for more live-action Star Wars roles in the future, particularly a Clone Wars film or series with Ewan McGregor as Obi-Wan Kenobi.

On this, Hayden said: I would love that … I think the Clone Wars era is such a compelling time in Anakin’s life that we never really got to see much of it in live action, and getting to do that a little bit in Ahsoka has been a real thrill.”

He went on to say “But I would love to get to do that with Ewan. I know that he's game too. So maybe one day the fans will get what they want.”

Sounds hopeful enough right? And if both of our beloved Jedi are keen to share the screen once again it’s going to happen sooner or later hasn’t it?

The question is what form of media would it be best suited towards, because as much as I’d love a film I’m wondering if a Disney+ series would be the better option…

It’d be even better if Ariana Greenblatt could also return for it. Greenblatt played the young Ahsoka seen in the flashback scenes of Ahsoka S1.
