007 First Light players are horny on main, as they seem unable to keep their tongues in their mouths when it comes to the franchise's latest female powerhouse.
Patrick Gibson has the tough task of taking over from where Daniel Craig left off in the live-action world of 007, and while we don't envy the poor guy who'll have to slip into a tux for the next movie, it seems the ever-grouchy fandom is welcoming Gibson with open arms.
We've had 44 years of James Bond games, ranging from highs like GoldenEye 007 to lows like 007 Legends. Ironically, the latter was the last mainline Bond game, all the way back in 2012.
Thankfully, our own review of 007 First Light praised IO Interactive for "coming full circle, going from being simply inspired by Bond to adapting the next chapter in the franchise’s 70-year legacy."

Alongside a younger Bond, we also get revamped versions of fan-favourites like M, Moneypenny, and Q, although one new addition is setting pulses racing.
Serving alongside James Bond in the revitalised Double O program, Cressida Bright is a hotshot agent who butts against our hero's modus operandi as she prioritises "mission over ego". Whether it's Cressida's no-nonsense approach to how she handles Bond, or the fact that she's arguably a better agent than him, players seem to have warmed to her.
Still, with others claiming First Light is 'woke' for its use of strong women, there are sure to be her haters out there in the depths of the internet.
In a franchise that's become known for bikini-clad Bond girls (Honey Ryder and Jinx) or easily disposable love interests (Goldfinger's Jill Masterson), Cressida does her own thing without having to slip into bed with the silver-tongued Mr. Bond.

Over on Reddit, one person asked who's playing Cressida, but with them stating, "Asking for a friend lmao," many in the replies suggested the OP wants to know so they can thirst over her.
Played by British actor Jessica Rhodes, she provides both the vocals and motion capture for Cressida. Alongside roles in 2020's Artemis Fowl movie and a West End appearance in Stranger Things: The First Shadow, this isn't Rhodes' first foray into video games. Those with particularly sharp hearing might recognise her voice as St. Trina from Elden Ring's Shadow of the Erdtree DLC.
Replying to the Reddit post, someone else said: "I'm glad they brought back sexy women from Hitman: Absolution. AAA gaming needs this in 2026. She kinda reminds me of Lea Seydoux as well, which is a big bonus."
Another joked: "Can't spell Gooner without a 00."
A third concluded: "Even other iterations of Bond would think you're down bad lmao."
Even if Cressida isn't a Bond girl, we'd argue that's only worked in her favour for 007 First Light.
