The list of cameos and easter eggs in 007 First Light go far beyond what you may have already seen on social media.
IO Interactive is no stranger to including fun callbacks in its games, if you take all the secrets and hidden easter eggs in the Hitman games as your point of reference.
007 First Light isn’t any different, featuring a load of references to the wider James Bond canon, as well as featuring some cameos and easter eggs for other things that the developer was able to squeeze into the game.
We’ve compiled a list of the eight best easter eggs and cameos which crop up in 007 First Light, as well as pointing out where to find them.

Be warned, this list includes spoilers for 007 First Light.
Eagle-eyed Hitman fans will spot plenty of references to everyone’s favourite bald assassin throughout their playthrough. We’re certain we haven’t caught them all just yet, but we’ll mention a few of the best ones we’ve seen so far.
For starters, a bartender asks Bond if he can make him a ‘bare-knuckle boxer’, which Hitman fans will know as the fictional drink that Sanguine owner Viktor Novikov enjoys. Meanwhile, we also found a magazine bearing the image of Hitman: Blood Money target Joseph Clarence, as well as a rubber duck which is described as ‘dressed for success’

In the A Night Out mission, Bond and his fellow trainee recruits are sent out on a mission to a London nightclub.
During the mission, you can interact with a staff member working at the club, who is played by none other than Twitch streamer Seán William McLoughlin, popularly known as JackSepticEye.

007 First Light has a lot of collectibles in the form of notes, key items, and other special knick-knacks. There’s also a unique category of collectibles called ‘Legacy’ items, which are each a reference to a different Bond adventure from the movies.
Some of these legacy items include Rosa Klebb’s dagger shoes from From Russia With Love, a pamphlet referencing the violin concert from The Living Daylights, and a badge for the Blades Club, a reference to both the novels and Die Another Day.

As 007 First Light is about Bond’s training to become a 00 agent, the game doesn’t start with the iconic gun-barrel sequence from the movies. Or rather, it half-does, with the white dot blinking across the screen before cutting to the opening scene.
However, the famous sequence does indeed feature in full during the game, returning at the very end once Bond gets his 00 status and becomes 007. And it’s marvellous.

Twitch streamer Shroud makes an appearance as an NPC during the chapter The Past Never Dies following a sequence where you need to beat up a bunch of guys in a fight.
“Bro, that was insane! You wrecked those guys! Like, total surgical violence back there. Like, I mean it. You literally kicked some serious a**!” the character says.

The main James Bond theme music is iconic for a multitude of reasons. Setting that aside for a moment, one of the best pieces of instrumental music John Barry ever composed was the theme for On Her Majesty’s Secret Service, which appears in the film’s opening titles and is a motif throughout the rest of the film’s score.
The theme makes a reappearance in 007 First Light, appearing prominently during a pivotal action sequence in the Time To Die mission. It’s this piece of music that really drums up the drama, without feeling an unearned callback.

Fans of the Fleming novels may spot a fun reference to Loelia Ponsonby, who acts as Bond’s shared secretary with the rest of the 00 section.
In the books Ponsonby is described as being a "year or two" older than Bond and has a warm, flirtatious relationship with him. In 007 First Light, she’s M’s secretary and a lot older than Bond. Most importantly, she makes it very clear from the get-go that she doesn’t approve of Bond’s attitude.

TikTok celeb Khaby Lame makes a tiny cameo in the Time To Die mission in Vietnam, where Bond asks another him if he knows where the Tranquility Cave is.
His response? Similarly to his online content, he gives Bond a deadpan expression and sarcastically points to a sign giving the direction. Whether you love or hate this, there's no denying this reference will stick out in your mind.
